WE ARE HIRING!

MACL is currently hiring casual and permanent employees in several different program areas including as support workers in our staffed group homes, community inclusion programs and children’s services. We currently have eight staffed homes, three community inclusion programs, an outreach program, employment and child & youth activity programs in the Mission, BC area.

We are a commutable distance from: Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Maple Ridge and other local Fraser Valley and Tri-city communities.

General Qualifications

Here are some of the QUALIFICATIONS needed to be hired at MACL:

  • Clear Criminal Record Check
  • Experience in the Community Living, Social Service, health care sector
  • Valid First Aid certificate
  • Physician’s report indicating good physical and mental health, free of communicable diseases
  • Tuberculosis risk management program
  • Food Safe (Level 1) certification
  • A driver license
    • Most positions at MACL require a Restricted Class 4 Driver’s License. New hires will be encouraged to attain this license within probationary period (Persons without a Class 4 Drivers license are encourage to apply if motivated to work toward Class 4 drivers license)
  • Use of own safe vehicle for transportation of individuals (as required)
  • Computer competency
